Since the interpretation of sustainability and ethics tends to be somewhat subjective, we have made our lines of production as transparent as possible – so that everyone can decide for themselves.

Happy sheep = happy sweater. The merino wool we use for our knits is outsourced only from mulesing-free farms. We tend to ask The Questions from woolgrowers and work with the ones who are able to ensure welfare of the sheep.

Wool has long been accepted as an environmentally positive fibre choice with a number of benefits,such as being 100% natural, renewable and biodegradable. Wool uses 18% less energy than polyester and nearly 70% less water than cotton to produce 100 sweaters.

There's a lot to talk about when it comes to zero-waste production. What does zero-waste mean to Woolish Long story short, we make sure that we will use every single strand of the high-quality merino yarn that our knits are made of.

We care about people just as much as about sheep. It’s a priority for us and all our partners to take responsibility and create a clean and safe working environment, which in turn benefits the whole society. Motivation, good will and sustainability support human development and by supporting each other we shape the future for coming generations.

Our mission is to minimize the burden of our supply chain and production on natural environment. The product life cycle starts with the raw material and ends with recycling when it has fulfilled its purpose. In our products we use merino wool as a mono material to contribute into the raw material production and to keep the products 100% recycleable.

Wool is a natural and renewable resource. As long as there is grass to eat, sheep will continue to produce wool. When wool is disposed of, it will naturally decompose in soil in a matter of months or years.

It’s the ultimate Eco material - 100% natural, renewable and biodegradable. Merino is super soft on skin but also very durable material. It has a natural protective shield complex that keeps your garment from getting dirty. You can use it all year round, it´s breathable, keeps a layer of air next to the skin and repels moisture.
